Pet friendly and right across the road from Tata Beach - the most desirable beach in Golden Bay. The house is elevated for views across the bay so you can see when conditions are right to pull out the complimentary sea kayaks and take them across the road to the beach. Having the House close enough to whip back to get a beer out of the fridge makes it an ideal location to have a real beach holiday. Tata with its golden sands is fabulous for swimming at high or low tide and the boat ramp is very near.
A great base to explore Golden Bay and the Abel Tasman National Park which begins only one bay away and located ten minutes drive to shop and restaurants. There is a fully fenced, private and sheltered bush clad back yard with swings suitable for small children or outside pets. There is secure off street parking. Double sea touring kayak, single sit on kayak, two single sit in sea kayaks and mountain bikes available for your use at no cost.
The house is jam packed with everything that you would need for a beach holiday such as boogie boards, skim board including plenty of rainy day games etc.
PLEASE NOTE that there are steep internal stairs that may be a challenge to a person with limited mobility or not as safe as traditional stairs. There are alternative exterior stairs that can be used as an alternative.

Summary: We had an amazing stay!! The location is perfect, and the house is spacious, sunny, and warm. The views over the sea are absolutely breathtaking, and we loved having the balconies on both sides of the house, allowing us to enjoy the sun while staying sheltered from the wind.The house is very well equipped with everything we needed, and having the kayaks to explore the bay and bikes to cycle to the dairy in Pohara was a wonderful bonus. The house manager is absolutely lovely and extremely helpful if you need anything.A tiny improvement could make this place even better, such as adding an outdoor tap or a small basin to rinse off sandy feet after a day at the beach to prevent putting sand everywhere.Overall, we highly recommend this place and would love to return!

Summary: We really enjoyed staying at the batch which was really close to Tata Beach. Loved having the kayaks to use. Enjoyed the kaka flying around and perching on roofs nearby. The kitchen, dining room and lounge area were perfect for entertaining. Really appreciated the use of the BBQ. Many thanks!

Summary: Perfect house to enjoy the beach, sun and walks nearby (the golf course is uncrowded and fun to play on). We really loved our stay, the beds were comfy and it was great to have two decks to enjoy the outdoors and birdlife. Thank you so much for having us.

Summary: We had 10 of us stay at the property for the long weekend. Unfortunately the weather was terrible so we couldn’t use the kayaks or bikes but we hung out, watched movies and played board games and still enjoyed ourselves.
